Neuro-Inclusive Business Audit

Many dog businesses want to be inclusive.
Very few have actually looked at their services through a neurodivergent lens.

This audit is a deep, supportive review of your business, from first contact to aftercare, identifying where neurodivergent clients may experience confusion, overwhelm, anxiety, or barriers to access.

It’s not about judgement or “doing things wrong”.
It’s about clarity, accessibility, and creating services that work better for everyone.

Who this audit is for

This audit is designed for:

  • Dog trainers and behaviourists
  • Canine therapists and practitioners
  • Dog daycare, boarding, and walking businesses
  • Training schools and academies

Especially if:

  • Clients often seem overwhelmed or anxious
  • People don’t read information or miss key details
  • You get repeated questions about expectations
  • Clients drop out, disengage, or struggle to follow plans
  • You want to be genuinely inclusive, not just well-intentioned

What the Neuro-Inclusive Business Audit looks at

We review your full client journey, including:

  • First contact and discovery
  • Website clarity and accessibility
  • Language, tone, and expectations
  • Booking and onboarding processes
  • Communication methods and boundaries
  • Service delivery, including classes or 1:1s
  • Sensory and cognitive load
  • Aftercare, follow-ups, and ongoing support

Throughout the audit, we focus on:

  • Reducing overwhelm
  • Improving clarity and predictability
  • Supporting executive function differences
  • Respecting sensory needs
  • Creating safer, more accessible experiences

How the audit works

Step 1: Pre-audit questionnaire
Before we meet, you’ll complete a short form sharing information about your services, website, communication methods, and any challenges you’ve noticed. This gives me the context I need to understand your business before our chat.

Step 2: Discovery consultation
We’ll have a 60-minute online (or in-person if local) session where we talk through how your services actually run, the journey your clients experience, and any areas you’d like to improve. This ensures I have the full picture before completing the audit.

Step 3: Audit and written action plan
After our chat, I’ll review everything – your questionnaire, website, service details, and what we discussed and create a clear, prioritised action plan. You’ll get practical recommendations and quick wins to make your business more neuro-inclusive.

Optional Step 4: Follow-up / implementation support (Audit Plus tier)
If you choose this level, we’ll check in after you’ve started implementing changes. I can help refine processes, review copy, and offer ongoing advice to make sure the changes stick.

No overwhelm. No unrealistic expectations. No pressure to change everything at once.
