Neuro-inclusive Dog Professional Network (NIDPN)

A professional learning space for neuro-inclusive dog people.

The Neuro‑inclusive Dog Professional Network (NIDPN) is a growing professional learning space for dog professionals and committed dog guardians who want to deepen their understanding of neurodivergence in a way that is practical, ethical, and sustainable.

The NIDPN is for people who want to:

  • Better support neurodivergent clients
  • Improve their own wellbeing and confidence
  • Develop neuro-inclusive services that genuinely work
  • Reduce overwhelm and constant decision-making about what to do next

Whether you work directly with dogs or are a highly engaged dog guardian, this space is designed to support learning that can be applied in real life, not just consumed passively.

What is the NIDPN membership?

The NIDPN membership provides ongoing access to professional training, discussion, and resources without pressure to “keep up” or commit to intensive programmes.

It is designed for people who value continuity, clarity, and calm structure over one-off events.

This is a growing membership. New training sessions and resources are added over time, and members join for ongoing access rather than a finished content library.

  • Date attended

These sessions are optional and require no preparation. Cameras can be off or on – it is a no pressure environment tailored to what you need!

Coming soon to the NIDPN

As the network grows, additional support options will be introduced, including:

Guided co-working sessions

Guided co-working sessions will offer a calm, structured space to work alongside others, with:

  • Microphones off
  • Minimal interaction
  • Clear start and finish points

These sessions are designed to support focus, accountability, and task completion without pressure to share, perform, or participate verbally.

Participation will always be optional, and the format and frequency of sessions may evolve based on member needs and capacity.

In the future, the NIDPN may include a public directory of member dog professionals to help clients find neuro-inclusive services in their area. Participation would always be optional and would be for the duration that you are a member.

Who is the NIDPN for?

The NIDPN is suitable for:

  • Dog professionals who want to work more neuro-inclusively
  • Trainers, instructors, behaviour professionals, and educators
  • Committed dog guardians who want a deeper understanding of neurodivergence
  • People who value thoughtful, applied learning over quick fixes

The NIDPN may not be the right fit for those looking to passively collect information without engaging or reflecting on their practice.
