The Dog World Needs to Change. This Is How We Start.

Something in the dog world isn’t working.

You’ve probably felt it.

Maybe you’ve struggled in a class environment that didn’t quite fit you. Maybe you’ve worked with clients who needed something different, but you weren’t sure how to offer it. Maybe you’ve found yourself thinking, “there has to be a better way than this.”

And yet… that better way often feels hard to find.

Why this matters to me

I have been in the dog world for over 11 years now and never felt like I quite fitted in. Whether that be as a dog person training my own dogs, as a dog trainer, or as an agility handler and coach.

It wasn’t until I had a late diagnosis of Autism and ADHD that things started to make sense.

The way that I had been feeling wasn’t because I was weird, broken, or doing something wrong, it was because the dog world isn’t neuro-inclusive.

That realisation lit a fire within me!! I wanted to create a space where people like me and the dogs they love could feel seen, safe, and supported.

For the past year and a half, I’ve been showing up consistently to talk about neuro-inclusion in the dog world.

Through blog posts, podcasts, webinars, social media, and conversations, I’ve been sharing what I know, what I’ve experienced, and what I believe needs to change.

Being neurodivergent myself, neuro-inclusion has become a bit of a special interest and hyperfixation, which means I’ve spent a lot of time and money diving deeply into this area.

I’ve invested in courses, webinars, books, and resources to ensure I have as much knowledge as possible and continue to learn every day. Alongside that, I’ve spent countless hours creating free communities, podcasts, and resources to raise awareness and support others.

I want to make sure I’m offering well-informed, practical guidance while still growing and learning myself, because nobody ever knows everything – and the work of creating real change takes dedication, time, and ongoing learning.

Because this isn’t just a “nice idea.”

It impacts real people.
Real handlers.
Real dog professionals.

People who feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, or unsupported in spaces that are meant to help them.

When I first started this movement, it was funded by my agility business.

But over time, I made the decision to scale that side of things back, so I could give this work the time, energy, and focus it truly deserves.

Every time I speak about this, I hear the same thing:

“This is so needed.”
“This explains so much.”
“I’ve never seen it talked about like this before.”

The reality

As much as I care about this work, the truth is:

I can’t continue to grow it, expand it, and create real change on my own, and I can’t continue to do it all for free.

Not if this is going to become what it could be.

And more importantly…

It was never meant to be just me.

This needs to be a collective

I bring my lived experience, my knowledge, my qualifications, and my perspective.

But I am still just one voice!!

If we want to create a dog world that is truly more neuro-inclusive, it has to come from more than one perspective.

It has to come from shared experiences.
Shared challenges.
Shared conversations about what is actually hard, and what actually needs to change.

That’s how meaningful change happens.

Not in isolation, but together.

Introducing the Neuro-Inclusive Dog Professional Network

👉 Explore the Neuro-Inclusive Dog Professional Network

The Neuro-Inclusive Dog Professional Network is a space for dog professionals and handlers who want to:

– Understand neuro-inclusion on a deeper level and gain access to resources and webinars that actually help.
– Reflect on their own experiences.
– Share what they’re finding difficult.
– Be part of shaping something better for the future!

It’s not just about learning.

It’s about contributing.
Being heard.
And helping build something that actually works in real life.

Because no one should feel like they’re navigating this alone.

Built differently, on purpose

This isn’t a fully “finished” membership.

And that’s intentional.

It’s being built and shaped in real time, by the people inside it.

Which means if you join early, you’re not just accessing what’s already there…

You’re helping influence what it becomes.

The conversations we have, the challenges you share, and the gaps you highlight all feed directly into the work I do and the direction this grows in.

A different kind of opportunity

Because this is in its early stages, there is currently an opportunity to join at a significantly reduced rate.

That’s a reflection of where it’s at right now.

But as it grows, the level of support, the depth of resources, and everything inside it will grow too.

And that means this early access point won’t be around forever.

Right now, this is about being part of something from the ground up.

If this resonates with you…

If you’ve ever felt like something needs to change.
If you’ve ever wanted to understand this more deeply.
If you’ve ever wished for more support, more awareness, or more understanding…..

Then this space was created for you.
